Havre

Well, Reid and I headed back to Havre last weekend to hunt and so Reid could play in the Alumni game at Northern.

  Gunner got his first taste of pheasant hunting and he did really well. 

It is really fun to watch him point and flush the birds.  He actually did really really well too!  They are still a little big for him to bring back, but he tried. 

 We went hunting with Kayleen Hockett all day and did really well.  Everyone had been telling us that the pheasant numbers were down and that they would be really hard to find.  So we were pretty happy with 4 pheasants and a few sharptails.

 

 Here are a few shots from the Alumni game.  It was fun to watch the "old guys" beat the current team. 

The ending score was 68 to 71.
