Highlites of Mom and Dad in AZ!

Mom and Dad aka Buh Buh and Buh Buh just had the time of their lives in AZ! Dad keeps saying that he wants to move here forever - but don't let that scare you - you can all still visit too!

It was snowing in AK and 9 degrees in MT - not a bad time for a vaca in AZ! It was a cool 78 degrees today! Church was NOT cancelled!

Mom would only ride on the back of the jetskis - Dad was the toothless wonder - as in wonder where that tooth went...

Can't keep him from fishing, and he has a new fishing buddy~

Joss is 2!! She loved her Elmo cake!

Is it Jackson Ruel or Jackson DROOL?!

Snow day in Ketchikan

No these pictures are not being taken in West Yellowstone! What is so special about a little snow in Ketchikan--it IS Alaska right? Well, living in a rain forest doesn't really allow for much snow. In fact, according to Wikipedia online encyclopedia Ketchikan's annual precipitation is 152 inches (12.67 FEET!), but the annual snowfall is only 37 inches. Last winter it snowed a couple times (maybe 3 times?), but never lasted more than one day. The rain would come and wash all of it away. These pictures show how much snow we have received in the past two days--almost our ANNUAL average in one shot! It is raining now and will be gone tomorrow, but in the meantime even church is cancelled! Silly! I would think Alaskan's would be able to handle a little bit of snow, but I guess not!

This is our back yard.

The snow is so wet and heavy it weighs the trees down.

We took Max out to play today. First we went up into the mountains as far as we could go in the mighty Suby and then let Max out to lead the way back to the road. Then we took him to the park to run around in the snow.

But even the Mighty Suby couldn't make it back into OUR OWN DRIVEWAY! One of my stuntmen shoveled our driveway Thursday night so all of this is new since then.

Delayed Christmas Pictures

Since Christmas Reid and I have been so busy with cheerleading and basketball that I haven't had time to add anything to the blog, but we had such a great time goose hunting that I thought we better get it on the blog. Better late than never!

Poor Stanley, you may not want to see these pictures...

Our Neighbor's dog, Halen, attacked Stanley today. It was pretty scary. She had a tight grip on his neck. I tried to pry her off Stanley, while another guy was pulling at her collar and punching her face, and Halen's owner was screaming no! and punching her dog too.. Stanley went to the Vet and got stitches under his neck and they put a drain in his neck so the fluid wouldn't build up and get infected. Then you can see the puncture wounds in his leg and head and his great haircut. He is doing o.k. Just moving a little slow! But he is a tough dog now with real life battle wounds!
