O'Learys are I'Nsane

There is never a dull moment - at least when the kids are up!

Joss loves her swim suit her Auntie Paige got her, so much so that she fished it out of the hamper after she was supposed to be going to sleep.

She'll even wear it inside out!
Joss got some new designer shades - these sunglasses came with paparazzi.

Summer Nights

While some of you are sitting in the shade to escape the heat, Max, Luke and I were playing outside in the rain!

Max is the dog on the left and his brother, who is staying with us for 3 weeks, is on the right. Two dogs is proving to be exhausting!

I have to say that I LOVE LOVE rain gear! Even if I do feel like I am getting ready to go skiing in the middle of summer.....

Race for the Cure

Here is the 3rd year for Race for the cure.  I love all the support, especially from my husband who ran it this year, and my friend Stephanie who made cute pink hair ribbons and walked with me this year.

Solstice Day Parade in Seattle

This is a taste of the hippie lifestyle in the Freemont District in Seattle.  There is a parade every year to celebrate the Summer solstice.  We took some pictures of some interesting parade entries.  We tastefully left out the painted naked people riding bikes...

Fishing pictures

Don't be fooled by the sign. This picture was taken in 2008! I think I am going to write a nasty letter to the person in charge of marketing for this company and tell her to get her act together!

Jesse caught the fish in the middle and it weighed in at 81 pounds! Tricia has some really good pictures on her camera (hint hint) and you can see it is as tall as her! The fish next to Dad is a 40 pound fish! Lots of halibut to take home. (in fact so much halibut to take home that there wasn't room for all the crab they caught so it had to be left behind and was very yummy!)

Sophie is already in love with Crab legs!

King salmon Derby 2008.

On average, a king salmon in Ketchikan costs about 36 rod hours. To catch them you drop your line about 70 feet and then troll (or drive slowly, pulling your bait through the water at a certain depth) at about 2.5 mph. The water was very calm so the boys played some cards during the down time. We only caught a few shakers (kings that were too small to keep) but it was a nice day on the boat and in the sun.

Jesse was the master at pulling crab pots!
